Annual Membership Meeting May 27, 2023, 9:00 AM at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church. Ceil Strauss, State Floodplain (NFIP) Manager, Ecological and Water Resources Division, will be our speaker to address questions about the new FEMA floodplain mapping that will be coming in 2024. Information links:

Special Membership Offer for New Members – In order to encourage those lake property owners who have not joined the lake association, we are offering a three year membership for the price of two ($40). Offer is available through summer 2023. Be a part of our community, get information specific to our lake, and support projects for the improvement of our lake.
Summer Employment Opportunity – THE LAKE SHAMINEAU LAKE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT is looking for responsible adults to serve as ambassadors at boat landings. They will remind boaters about cleaning, draining boats and trailers, & disposing of used bait. The program runs May 15 (opening fishing) through September 4 (Labor Day). Shifts typically 4-6 hours, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old, must attend a paid, ($20 per hour) 3 hour AIS (Aquatic Invasive Species) training, in person or online with a DNR Regional Watercraft Inspection Supervisor.
