Roadside Clean Up April 25, 2026

The Lincoln–Scandia Valley Lions Club, in partnership with the Lake Associations for Lake Shamineau, Lake Alexander, and Fish Trap Lake, invites community members to participate in the Scandia Valley Road Cleanup on April 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteers should meet at the Scandia Valley Township Hall at 10:00 a.m., where participants can choose a road they’d like to help clean. The Lions will provide safety vests, trash picker-uppers, garbage bags, gloves, and water for volunteers. After the cleanup, everyone is invited to enjoy a free hot dog lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Lions Shelter in the park. During the event, the Lions will also share radon awareness information, offer a drawing for 30 free radon test kits, and provide information about arsenic in drinking water. Come out, help keep our community beautiful, and enjoy a fun and meaningful morning with neighbors.
